Biography
Dr Yamikani Ndasauka is an Associate Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Malawi. He is an interdisciplinary scholar whose work bridges philosophy, applied ethics, psychology, public health and cultural studies, with a focus on African perspectives.
His research interests include mental health in Africa, sports ethics, African philosophy and the philosophy of technology. He is the author of African Mind, Culture and Technology: Philosophical Perspectives (Springer Nature, 2024), co-author of Doping and Anti-Doping in Africa: Theory and Practice (2024), and editor of COVID-19 and Psychological Distress in Africa: Communitarian Perspectives (2023).
