Internships

Hands-on research experience for students in the social sciences.

What Interns Do

Learn Research by Doing Research

CSR's internship programme places students directly on active research projects, working alongside our researchers across Economics, Population Studies, Political & Administrative Studies, Sociology, Psychology, and History. It's a chance to build practical research skills beyond the classroom.

Data Collection & Entry

Support fieldwork, surveys, and interviews on ongoing CSR projects.

Literature Reviews

Assist with background research and evidence synthesis for new studies.

Data Analysis

Work with quantitative and qualitative data under researcher supervision.

Report Writing

Contribute to briefs, reports, and presentations of research findings.

Eligibility

Open to current undergraduate and postgraduate students in economics, sociology, psychology, political science, population studies, history, or a related social science discipline. Both short-term (attachment) and semester-length internships are available depending on department capacity.
