Evaluation of cash transfer of e-payment system Save the children

The E-payment project is being piloted in Mchinji and Machinga districts for a period of three years (2012 to 2014) to the tune of Euro 3.3 million. The pilot targets a total of total of 9004 beneficiaries in th two districts with the gaol of increasing access to financial services in rural Malawi by esuring reduction in poverty, food insecurity and improved school enrollment. specifically, the project objective seeks to ensure that a sustainable e-payment system is implemented and effectively in service in order to improve delivery and access of beneficiaries to social cash transfer payments.
