The project was done between march and july 2003 by centre for social research of the university of malawi with the aim of to explore the perception of people in malawi on issues related to HIV/AIDS, voluntary counseling and testing (VCT), mother to child transmission of HIV and child feeding. The study was jointly commissioned by national AIDS Commission (NAC), The Ministry of Health and UNICEF
