Applied social science research tackling Malawi's most pressing development challenges.
Since 1979, the CSR has produced over 500 research and consultancy reports focused on poverty and sustainable livelihoods, public health, democracy and governance, and gender, youth, and disability. It has built strong partnerships with government, NGOs, the private sector, development partners, and international research institutions, while generating extensive research data, more than 25 peer-reviewed journal articles, and book chapters.
